Yes you read that correctly. With silver above the US$75oz mark and Crude Oil trading around US$60 per barrel, we are seeing a rare moment where one tiny ounce of metal can buy an entire 159-liter drum of energy.

Maybe not much longer though. The successful removal of Maduro will have oil companies eager to extract Venezuelas reserves and may put upward pressure on the price of oil.

Your guess is a good as any. Either way, this is a yuge win for Trump.

Maybe a win for Trump, but not necessarily the USA and the petrodollar system. Even more countries will likely dump dollars because it makes them vulnerable (see BRICs). De-dollarisation has been the underlying force that's driven precious metal prices higher these past couple of years. Last nights 'liberation' of Venezuela will likely accelerate that IMO.
